The Virginia Outdoors Foundation (VOF) has always been generously supported by private donors in addition to receiving money from the Commonwealth of Virginia. All contributions to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation are tax-deductible for both federal and state income tax purposes.

Volunteer Opportunities

Because of Virginia's strong reliance on voluntary land conservation and our state's generous land preservation tax credit, easement demand can exceed VOF's available human resources. Volunteers can help! Citizen education and stewardship program support are two areas where volunteers can make value added contributions.
